CHANGE IS IN THE AIR
It’s November and things are slowing; snow is coming down and Fall seems to be over. There have been many changes at Hokyoji over the past weeks. First it was the Fall Work Weekend; in addition to the garden being put to bed there was fall cleaning and preparing Hokyoji for the winter. The next weekend was the first ever Hokyoji Open House where we enjoyed old friends and met new friends and neighbors. Our major re-modeling projects also were going on: the improvements to the workshop dormitory as well as the new heated floor in the zendo. A new Hokyoji web site and Facebook page were finished and Hokyoji’s first introduction to meditation workshop was offered by Ekyo Susan Nelson. It’s been nice to see all the activity.
