Handmade for Hokyoji

We’re asking all knitting and crocheting bodhisattvas to pick up their needles and hooks, raid their yarn stashes, and send in squares to be sewn together to cover the beds in our guest quarters. Imagine each of our guest practitioners arriving to find his or her bed covered with a spread made by Hokyoji’s community. A warm welcome indeed!

Use your favorite color, pattern and stitch; all we ask is that the yarn be worsted weight and the squares be 12-inches on a side such that everyone’s squares are roughly comparable and work well together in a bedcover.  Your square(s) will have
a long life here at Hokyoji and be appreciated by many guest practitioners in the coming years.
