Take Highway 61 or 52, 90, and 61 to La Crescent, MN. Go just 2.4 miles south of
La Crescent on Highway 16/44 and look for the turnoff onto Highway 26. Follow 26 south for 21 miles to New Albin, IA. About
4 blocks into New Albin, you will see a bar called the High Chaparral on the left, and the town community center on the right.
Turn right on Ross Road, just before the community center, and head northwest past the cemetery on the right. The road will
become gravel (Houston County Road 5) about half a mile outside of New Albin.
After another mile and a half you will pass a barn on the left and come to a small sign which says "2649
County Road 5." Turn left on the unimproved road and follow it for exactly a mile back into a clearing, where the retreat
buildings are set.
